In Season 1
Ben Mair
Straight out of Hastings 1066 Music City, Ben Maier makes unforgettable and empowering 80s inspired romance rock, fuelled with sweat and smiles, like the fist-pumping end credits soundtrack to your new favourite teen movie (John Hughes' The Breakfast Club, Dirty Dancing, the Goonies…)—get ready for infectious melodies and singalong choruses performed with the heart-on-sleeve commitment of a British Bruce Springsteen, backed by his powerhouse six-piece band.
Saints on Sea
Saints-On-Sea combine beautiful 3 part harmonies with live instrumentation. Offering both covers and originals, the vocals are supported by the guitar, ukulele, cello, flute and saxophone. Anna made the move to Hastings first where a couple of years later she was delighted to bump into an old friend, Rachel, at the Cactus bar’s open mic. They soon started singing together. Sam was the last to discover St Leonard's in 2019 and after a mutual friend set-up she met Rachel and Anna. All three women have a background in theatre and the arts and still work in other areas of the industry. They love a winter sea swim, eating Dough-Ray-Me pizza and sauna on the pier.
MimiNI
MimiNi is a brother-sister duo crafting emotionally-charged songs that echo with cinematic depth and indie soul. The duo write, record, and self-produce their music, blending warm melodies with vulnerability and layered production.
Having grown up in the same home, Mimi and Corey have both shared a deep love of music from an early age, though initially following different paths with it. They each pursued their own journeys — until something clicked and they found their path with music was better shared together.
Set to release their debut EP later this year, MimiNi is the result of Corey and Mimi’s close creative bond - a fresh, authentic sound that reflects their shared passion and vision.
